8. Dumb and Dumber To (yeah, it’s spelt that way) – Harry and Lloyd reunited after 20 years; what could be better in the movie world? The original Dumb and Dumber has reached cult status among comedies, as you’ll find very few people who are immune to the charm. Minus swearing, gore and the after effects of alcohol, this was 90 minutes of pure humour and enjoyment. If nostalgia doesn’t get this potential gem over the line, the class and experience of Jim Carrey will ensure an instant hit. Jeff Daniels doesn’t dabble in comedy so much anymore, so the risk lies in his ability to bring back the shaggy haired, toilet destroying, sheepdog driving sidekick to Carrey’s Lloyd.
