So this is it. Today we’ll say farewell to some of televisions most loved characters at the Parks and Recreation Department in Pawnee, Indiana — In what started seven years ago with humble beginnings and underwhelming reviews, the NBC developed show has grown to become a ratings smash with an extremely dedicated fan base across the world.
In seven seasons, the show has made stars of Aubrey Plaza, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Retta and Jim O’Heir while skyrocketing the profiles of Amy Poehler, Adam Scott and of course Chris Pratt who is dominating the big screen with lead roles in films such as Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and Jurassic World (2015).
So with the bittersweet anticipation of todays finale we leave you with a collection of tribute videos to look back on the greatness of Parks and Recreation. Goodbye Pawnee!
