So Parks and Recreation has come to an end but fear not, there is a silver lining! The news has come out that Adam Scott is teaming up with Parks and Rec writer Joe Mande to produce a sitcom for NBC called ‘Buds’ about the day-to-day operations of a marijuana dispensary in Denver, Colorado.
Developed by Adam Scott and his wife Naomi Scott’s production company ‘Gettin’ Rad Productions’, the show has been sold to NBC for their 2015-16 development cycle, which marks a big step forward for mainstream cannabis culture with it to be the first scripted sitcom of its kind on network television.
Its early days and the details are scarce but we hope we’ll be seeing Adam Scott return to our screens as a cast member in ‘Buds’. We’ll be following any updates closely!
