Fresh from the upcoming release of his new album When I Change My Mind I Don’t Mean It, US indie sensation Chance Peña is heading to Australia this December for his first ever headline tour.
The East Texas–born songwriter has built a reputation on raw lyricism and deeply personal storytelling, breaking through in 2023 with i am not who i was — a career-defining single that has now surpassed 400 million streams worldwide. At just 25, Peña is quickly becoming one of the most captivating new voices in indie music, and Aussie fans will soon get the chance to see him up close.
The Tour
Presented by Live Nation and Secret Sounds, Peña’s When I Change My Mind I Don’t Mean It tour will see him play three intimate headline shows alongside his appearances at Spilt Milk Festival (most dates already sold out).

About Chance Peña
A songwriter and producer since his teens, Peña first made industry waves after signing with Secret Road Music Publishing at just 17. By 2020, he was co-writing with John Legend on Conversations in the Dark — a track that earned a Grammy nomination and featured on Legend’s Grammy-winning album Bigger Love.
Since then, Peña has steadily released a string of EPs, singles, and his 2024 debut album Ever-shifting, Continual Blossoming. His sound blends traditional storytelling with modern indie textures, exploring themes of growth, longing, and self-discovery.
This month, he’ll release his highly anticipated second album When I Change My Mind I Don’t Mean It (August 29), before embarking on tours with The Lumineers and Tom Odell, and finally, his own Australian run.
