Melbourne is set for an adrenaline-fuelled afternoon as Freestyle Kings: Capture The Crown Live World Tour returns to Rod Laver Arena on Saturday, 8 August 2026, bringing together some of the world’s biggest names in freestyle motocross, BMX and snowmobile freestyle.

Headlined by action sports legend Robbie Maddison, the show promises gravity-defying tricks, world-class athletes and stadium-scale production in what has become one of Australia’s premier live extreme sports events.

For Melbourne fans, one of the biggest drawcards will be the homecoming of Rob Adelberg, Australia’s most decorated X Games Moto X rider. Fresh from claiming another X Games gold medal in China, Adelberg returns to perform in front of a home crowd after further extending his record as the most successful Moto X athlete in X Games history.

“It’s always special riding in Melbourne,” Adelberg said.

“To be coming home after another X Games gold and performing in front of family, friends and a home crowd is something I never take for granted. Freestyle Kings has put together an incredible line-up and I can’t wait to put on a show for the Melbourne fans. The atmosphere is always unbelievable and it’s going to be an afternoon people won’t forget.”

The 2026 tour features one of the strongest line-ups in Freestyle Kings history, with multiple world champions Pat Bowden and Clinton Moore joining the action alongside five-time X Games gold medallist and snowmobile freestyle star Daniel Bodin.

Fans will also get the chance to see the next generation of freestyle talent, with Kruz Maddison (15) and Jagger Maddison (13), the sons of Robbie Maddison, continuing to make names for themselves on the international stage.

Rounding out the line-up is rising freestyle motocross talent Tarj Daly, the 21-year-old Central Coast rider regarded as one of Australia’s brightest young stars.

Combining freestyle motocross, BMX and snowmobile stunts with high-energy production, pyrotechnics and record-breaking tricks, Freestyle Kings: Capture The Crown promises an action-packed spectacle suitable for fans of all ages.

Whether you’re a long-time motorsport enthusiast or simply looking for an unforgettable family outing, the show delivers a unique mix of elite athleticism and live entertainment that’s guaranteed to get pulses racing.
