Euclove started with a family looking for a different way to clean their home. Now the Melbourne brand is stocked in more than 850 stores around Australia.
Most people don’t think too hard about what’s sitting under the kitchen sink. You grab the spray, give the bench a wipe and move on.
For Melbourne couple Srini and Chelsy Ranganathan, it became the starting point for a business.
After their son experienced respiratory sensitivities, the couple began looking back at natural remedies that had been used in their families for generations, including eucalyptus and tea tree oil.
Srini’s Indian heritage also brought ingredients like clove and neem into the mix, eventually inspiring the pair to start making their own cleaning products at home.
That home experiment became Euclove, which launched in 2017 as an Australian-made range of plant-based cleaning products.
Fast forward to 2026 and the Melbourne brand is now stocked in more than 850 retailers across Australia, with products covering pretty much every cleaning job you can think of.
There’s a multi-purpose cleaner, bathroom cleaner, kitchen cleaner, glass and mirror spray, stainless steel cleaner, floor cleaner and two different toilet cleaners.
The whole idea is to use botanical ingredients and essential oils rather than the more traditional chemical-heavy approach to household cleaning.

Eucalyptus is obviously a major part of the range, with Euclove using Australian-grown eucalyptus oil, alongside ingredients including tea tree, clove and neem.
The brand has also put some thought into what happens after you’ve finished cleaning. Its bottles are made in Australia using 70 per cent recycled plastic, while the caps and trigger sprays are made from recycled plastic and designed without metal springs to make recycling easier. Selected products are also available as refills.
And while the brand has grown well beyond the Ranganathans’ kitchen, that family connection is still part of the story.
Euclove also supports The Nurtured Village, donating hampers and providing support for mothers and families who are doing it tough.
So, what started as two parents looking for a different option for their own home has turned into a Melbourne business that’s now making its way into homes around Australia.
Not bad for something that started under the kitchen sink.
