Melbourne’s New Year’s Eve calendar has another big festival locked in, with New Year’s at the Bowl returning to the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and Kings Domain this December.
Following its debut last year, the festival will return on Thursday, December 31, 2026, bringing a multi-stage lineup of electronic, dance and live acts together for a night of music leading into 2027.
Headlining the festival is international dance act Major Lazer, joined by a lineup spanning house, disco, techno, electronic and live music.

Also on the bill are DJ Seinfeld (Live), CC:DISCO!, Helena Hauff, Todd Terje (DJ), Close Counters, Miami Horror, Don West, Yung Singh, Adriana, Surusinghe, Flight Facilities (DJ), Maden Lane, Claire O’Brien and MZRIZK.
PBS FM’s Milo Eastwood will also host the festival, while organisers are keeping one part of the night under wraps, with a special midnight guest still to be announced.
The festival will spread across three stages, with music running from the afternoon through until 1.30am. The setting will take over the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and surrounding Kings Domain gardens, giving attendees plenty of space to move between stages throughout the night.
New Year’s at the Bowl is an 18+ event, making it an option for those looking for something bigger than the traditional pub or club NYE format.
