From viral breakout to arena shows
SOMBR has quickly established himself as one of the more prominent young names in pop, following the breakout success of his single ‘back to friends’.
The track reached number one on Spotify’s Global and US charts, broke into the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 and spent five consecutive weeks at number one on Alternative Radio.
His debut album, I Barely Know Her, arrived in 2025 and was co-produced by Tony Berg, whose previous work includes collaborations with artists including Phoebe Bridgers and The Replacements.
SOMBR has also picked up a Best New Artist Grammy nomination, performed on Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and won Best Alternative at the MTV VMAs.
More recently, he has continued building momentum with singles including ‘Homewrecker’, ‘Potential’ and ‘My Body Isn’t Ready’.
For Australian fans, the April 2027 shows will mark SOMBR’s return to the country, with the addition of second Melbourne and Sydney dates suggesting there is already plenty of interest in seeing him live.
